What a milestone year 2012-2013 was! The 175th Anniversary Celebration brought students, alumni, faculty, and friends together to celebrate and remember our strong and storied past.

At the opening of school assembly last September, as I gazed out at the sea of students as I prepared to address them, I found myself thinking about my time here at the Academy and also the generations of students, including those in front of me, who have been forever impacted by this remarkable school – this school where students have the opportunity to reach their full potential in the service of a greater good.

I was also overcome with gratefulness for the countless, generous donors who have made it possible for the Academy to deliver on our promise of excellence for 175 years. To those whose names are listed on the pages of this report, I say thank you. Your support has touched the lives of each one of our students and has paved the way for the school’s enduring future.
